les années se suivent, mais ne se ressemblent pas
:: what a beautiful november snowfall
as i was walking back from my parents this evening, i started realizing that only a few months ago i was complaining about the late montreal summer heat wave. indeed, as humans, we spend more time complaining about things than appreciating things that just go by. and it was at that point that i was reminded of the 98 snow storm and what a great time i had during the whole ordeal. how losing power, hot power and heating made me realize how well we really are and the ironic human fate of only appreciating events, people and realities only by their passing or their absence.
how ironic indeed...
