:: easy being a habs fan when they win!
That is such a true statement! I am most likely a lousy fan with the attention span of a goldfish, but I truly enjoy watching a fast-paced game, especially when the Habs are winning!
Thanks to Zednick and the strong (crim qu'y est fort!) new goalie Garon, the Habs stole a sweet 2-1 victory over the mighty Red Wings.
Lots of fun thanks to my brother Ash for calling me up and inviting me.
I enjoyed my beer and salted peanuts just as much as the memories of previous games at the Keg (Bell Center, home of the Montreal Canadiens and former Molson Center) and the creaky old Forum.
As I was seating at the Keg last night, I realized that (WOW!) I have never played hockey on ice... hell, I have never skated on Ice in my life!
Shame on me! I should definitely take it up this winter. Can't wait to hold on that chair with my fellow beginners! Ice skating and cross-country skiing.
Looking forward to Winter 2004. For now, let me enjoy Montreal's beautiful fall.
