Time for a little break!
:: Looking forward to the Holidays
Well, the past six months have passed by in a flash. The Hotel acquisition, rebranding and new marketing initiatives for the Hotel have taken their toll on my already busy schedule.
Preparing the Hotel Champ-de-Mars website and the parallell marketing campaigns were fun, but required lots of work.
The Habana Fair and consequent business dealings and follow-ups obviously required a lot of extra work, never mind the hefty phone charges and frustrations associated with the Cuban telecommunication lines (or lack of).
As if I do not already take big enough bites, I registered at the Andre Gilbert kick boxing school to start getting back to shape. The addition of kick-boxing on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays is actually a welcome fitness break.
By the way, following my posting in May, I had the pleasure of getting an unexpected e-mail from Christian Genitrini who came up during the American thanksgiving to visit Montreal. It was really fun to see him again after eight years!
Being glad that there are enough people out there like me who actually ego-surf quite extensively, I have greater confidence in finding long-lost friends! So here goes another message to a friend that I wish to contact:
If anyone has news from Johnnie Giordano from Margarita, Venezuela, please ask him to call me or e-mail me. I lost touch with him when he left Andersen. The last time I saw him was in Montreal when he came to visit me from Ohio in 1995-96.
Anyway, folks, that is it for now! Talk to you soon!
